Pi Day is a day commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi).
The valedictory function of the TROP activities of the department of Mathematics was held on 14th March 2012 at Thiruvankulam. The chief guests for the function were Sri. Dominic Presentation, MLA of Cochin and Sri.K V Saju, Municipal Councillor, Tripunithura Municipality. Sri.Renjith Kumar, Co-ordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra welcomed the gathering.
On the same day as a part of the ‘Pi day’ celebration the students of the department conducted a Mathematics Talent search Exam for the students who attended the weekly tuition class taken by the students.The prizes for the winners were given away by Sri. Dominic Presentation.
